In light of the recent survey that has named Israel to pose the greatest danger to world peace, Meirav and Ibrahim take it upon themselves to improve Israeli’s image in the world. Ibrahim and Meirav are two young and ambitious actors who embark on an emotional journey to bring Jews and Arabs closer by stressing what they share in an attempt to bridge the differences between their two people.
“Ambassadors of Very Good Will”is a multimedia satirical cabaret-blending humour with criticism. Balancing themselves between theatre and the reality that they live in,Meirav and Ibrahim are determined to succeed abroad and intend to give their audiences what they want- a Show! With the grandiose aspirations of arousing appreciation for the Holy Land they will host an evening where they will act sing and dance for their audiences. “Ambassadors of Very Good Will” was produced with Funds and through the Initiative of Shlomi Ravid and The Israel Centre of San Francisco
"Ambassadors of Very Good Will" will be presented in the San Francisco and Bay area between March 2nd till March 15th for a total of 8 performances--mainly on campuses.
About the Production The production is aimed at non-Israeli audiences. It is based upon personal experience derived from a complex environment full of many conflicts which will be explored. The production will examine the relationship between the artists and their reality, between their art and their audience.
