I wish to commend Mr Moti Sandak, creator of the All about Jewish Theatre, for resurrecting from the horrific depths of Europe’s camps and ghettoes so many moving artistic expressions of the past. For all its tragic content, this theatre is all about life and hope.
The Holocaust Theatre Online Collection launched by All about Jewish Theatre will give the global community wider access to a precious part of Jewish living heritage.
UNESCO applauds this innovative initiative, which highlights the astonishing power of art and creativity to prevail over hatred, destruction and genocide. In so doing, it forges dynamic links between the past, present and future.
